Adam Sandler is officially back on the road and fans are here for it.

The beloved comedian and actor  just announced (June26) his 33-city You're My Best Friend Tour, kicking off September 5 in Jacksonville, Florida, and wrapping November 1 with a two-night stint in Las Vegas. It's his first tour since the sold-out I Missed You Tour last fall, and fans are already buzzing with excitement and, in some cases, a little bit of disappointment.

Sandler made the announcement on Instagram with his signature laid-back flair, writing “Let’s have some fun” alongside the full tour date list. For many fans, that was all they needed to hear. Within minutes, social media lit up with comments like, “I’m clearing my schedule NOW,” and “This is the best news all year.”

Longtime fans are gearing up for what promises to be a nostalgic and hilarious night with one of comedy’s most iconic stars. But not everyone is popping the champagne.

Despite the high energy surrounding the tour, a large group of fans are feeling left out – especially those in cities like Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Houston, and Austin.

“How does Texas not get a single date?” one fan posted on social media, while another chimed in, “No love for Colorado? Come on Sandman, we need this too!”

Still, there’s no denying that Sandler is having a serious moment right now and fans believe this tour is perfectly timed. Just weeks before the tour kicks off, Sandler will be reprising his iconic role in Happy Gilmore 2, which hits Netflix on July 25.

The highly anticipated sequel reunites him with costars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, and will even feature Travis Kelce in a mystery role.

In a recent appearance on Kelce’s New Heights podcast, Sandler gave fans a sneak peek, saying, “The movie picks up with an older Happy who’s a bit of a mess. We try to get his life cooking again.”

With the hype already building around the movie, fans say the tour will only add fuel to the fire.

“It’s genius,” one fan shared. “He’s reminding everyone why they love him live, just before dropping a movie we’ve waited decades for. It’s going to blow up.”

Presale tickets for the You're My Best Friend Tour became available Thursday, June 26, and the general sale will open 24 hours later via Ticketmaster. If the last tour is any indication, fans are advised to act fast because when Sandler hits the stage, it’s not just a comedy show, it’s a full-blown celebration of his legacy.
